Responsibilities

- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies.
- Adapt instruction to accommodate various learning styles and meet the needs of students with special education requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional modifications to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming activities through parent-teacher conferences and written updates.
- Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement while ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Proven teaching experience with middle school students in both physical education and academic subjects such as math, literacy, or technology.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development principles, instructional modifications, and assessment strategies including standardized testing preparation.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms, educational software, and digital tools for classroom integration.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, parents, and administration.
- Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques suitable for middle school learners.
- Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction complemented by experience working with teenagers in a school setting.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and developmental stages within childhood development frameworks.
- Knowledge of educational compliance regulations such as AP style writing standards, Chicago Manual of Style for editing purposes, and curriculum implementation protocols.
