Sunbeam ABA Center is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing clinical team.
This position is not limited to candidates in the Portland, Oregon area. We welcome qualified BCBA applicants interested in remote opportunities. Candidates located in or near the Portland metro area may also choose a hybrid arrangement with our clinic in Oregon City, Oregon.
We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions and are open to developing a schedule that works for the right candidate.
Position Options
Remote BCBA
- Clinical supervision of RBTs/RBAIs via telehealth, when clinically and payer appropriate
- Parent and caregiver training
- ITP development and updates
- Data review and treatment modifications
- Clinical documentation
- Staff training and clinical support
- Other eligible remote clinical responsibilities
Hybrid BCBA
- Combination of remote and in-person responsibilities
- On-site clinical supervision at our Oregon City center
- Direct observation and assessment as needed
- Parent training
- ITP development and updates
- Staff training and clinical support
- Greater involvement with the day-to-day clinical operations of the center
Full-Time or Part-Time
We are open to different levels of availability:
- Full-Time: Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Part-Time: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on availability and client needs
Important Information for Remote Applicants
Because our clients receive services in Oregon, candidates must be able to meet all applicable Oregon requirements and payer credentialing requirements necessary to supervise and provide clinical services to our clients.
Sunbeam will provide administrative support throughout the credentialing and onboarding process.

Sunbeam ABA Center is a clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis provider located in Oregon City, Oregon. We provide individualized ABA services to children with autism and developmental differences.
Our goal is to create an environment where children can make meaningful progress, families feel supported, and clinicians have the flexibility and resources necessary to provide high-quality care.
Our BCBAs are supported by our leadership and administrative team so they can focus primarily on clinical supervision, treatment planning, parent training, assessments, and quality of care.

The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Holds an active BCBA certification in good standing
- Has experience supervising RBTs/RBAIs
- Is confident developing and updating ITPs
- Has experience providing parent/caregiver training
- Can analyze client data and make appropriate treatment modifications
- Communicates consistently with staff, families, and leadership
- Completes documentation accurately and on time
- Is comfortable providing remote supervision and telehealth services
- Can work independently while remaining connected with the clinical team
- Values collaboration and supporting the professional development of behavior technicians
- Is looking for a stable, long-term professional relationship

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing clinical supervision to RBTs/RBAIs
- Developing, reviewing, and updating Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs)
- Conducting assessments and reassessments
- Developing behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs
- Reviewing client data and modifying treatment as clinically appropriate
- Conducting parent and caregiver training
- Training and supporting behavior technicians
- Monitoring treatment integrity
- Completing clinical documentation and authorization-related materials
- Collaborating with families, technicians, leadership, and other members of the treatment team
- Maintaining compliance with BACB ethical requirements and applicable payer and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based treatment
- Experience with treatment-plan development
- Experience supervising behavior technicians
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to meet applicable Oregon and payer credentialing requirements
