Do you love dogs and enjoy working in a hands-on environment? We’re looking for a reliable, responsible, and compassionate Overnight Pet Care Attendant to join our team!
As an Overnight Pet Care Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our kennel free boarding dogs throughout the night (think daycare at night). This position is perfect for someone who is dependable, attentive, and passionate about animal care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor dogs overnight and respond to their needs
- Perform scheduled potty breaks and cleaning duties
- Maintain a clean and safe facility
- Observe and report any health or behavioral concerns
- Assist with feeding, medication administration , and morning care routines
- Complete cleaning and facility maintenance tasks as assigned
- Provide exceptional care and attention to all dogs in our facility
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be active throughout the shift
- Previous animal care experience is required
