POSITION OVERVIEW
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering safe, effective IV vitamin infusion therapy and injectable wellness treatments while providing an exceptional guest experience. As the clinical expert within the studio, the RN will assess client eligibility, administer treatments, educate clients on wellness offerings, and ensure compliance with all medical protocols and regulatory requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to practice nursing in a supportive, wellness-focused environment while building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them achieve their health and recovery goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer IV vitamin infusions, hydration therapy, and intramuscular (IM) injections in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct client assessments and review medical histories to determine treatment eligibility
- Obtain and document relevant health information, treatment notes, and informed consent within the electronic medical record system
- Monitor clients throughout treatments and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or medical concerns
- Educate clients on available IV therapies, wellness treatments, and recovery services
- Communicate client observations, concerns, and treatment outcomes with supervising providers and members of the care team as needed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all Pause wellness services and IV therapy offerings
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, clinical protocols, OSHA regulations, HIPAA requirements, and applicable state nursing regulations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and inventory records
- Assist with studio operations, including maintaining treatment rooms, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces
- Complete all required training, certifications, and continuing education requirements
- Serve as a professional ambassador for the Pause brand and create an exceptional experience for every client
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Experience with IV insertion and infusion therapy strongly preferred
- Background in emergency medicine, critical care, medical-surgical nursing, urgent care, PACU, infusion therapy, or similar settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in wellness, concierge medicine, functional medicine, med spa, or infusion therapy environments
- Passion for health, wellness, recovery, and preventative care
- Experience educating patients on health and wellness services
- Customer service or hospitality experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday

- Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision
- Ability to work in a moderately active studio environment
