Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, electrical systems, and other heavy-duty truck and equipment components.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and major overhauls on trucks, heavy equipment, and diesel machinery.
- Respond to on-site and roadside service calls to complete field repairs as needed.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues and support accurate, efficient repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair records and complete work safely and efficiently in both shop and field environments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous mechanic experience
- Solid mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Must provide your own basic set of tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle a wide range of repair needs
- Diesel or heavy equipment experience
- Class A CDL

Compensation:
$20.00 – $30.00/hour starting pay based on experience, qualifications, and certifications
- Overtime pay at 1.5x regular rate
Double-time pay on after-hours service calls
