MACHINE SHOP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Need to know calibration.
QC Inspector position in a job shop environment. The opening is full-time, Monday through Friday, some weekends on Day Shift (7:00am-3:30pm)
General duties include:
Inspection of machined parts.
Filling out & maintaining documentation for inspection reports.
Performing in-house calibration of measuring devices.
Maintaining calibration records.
Checking for proper documents in production areas.
Assisting production staff with measuring & print questions.
Skills:
Proper use of all precision measuring devices (CMM experience a plus).
Read & interpret multi view, complex blueprints (GD&T knowledge a plus).
Basic computer skills (including Excel & Word).
Neat & legible handwriting.
Able to manage daily workload independently.
Calm demeanor & able to work with various “personalities”.
Able to work calmly & efficiently with rapidly changing priorities.
