Duties
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and tools.
- Support skilled workers by handling manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment.
- Interpret basic construction plans and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Operate power tools under supervision and ensure proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving lifting and physical exertion throughout the workday.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with power tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work well within a team environment.
- Prior experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is beneficial but not required; a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are key.
