Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on promoting emotional well-being and resilience. This role involves working with pain management patients and developing plans to help them cope with pain, depression and the management of their pain. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities and possess strong clinical skills.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, including crisis intervention strategies.
- Facilitate family counseling sessions, if necessary, ensuring a supportive environment for all participants.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients requiring home and community services.
- Engage in clinical research activities to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to the field of mental health.
- Participate in case management duties to ensure continuity of care for clients with complex needs.
- Provide support for patients dealing with PTSD, addiction issues, behavioral challenges, or developmental disabilities.
- Utilize EMR systems for efficient patient record management and data collection.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution; current licensure as LCSW or LPC is required.
- Experience in psychotherapy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records management; proficiency in CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10).
- Strong background in behavioral health practices including crisis management, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those facing developmental challenges or geriatric populations.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
