Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash registers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in catering events or special functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Experience working in a restaurant or nightclub environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and bartending techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with customers effectively.
