CNC MILL MACHINIST - AEROSPACE
We are manufacturing company in Perris Ca that forms, fabricates, and machines a broad range of aluminum, steel, and exotic material components for the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets.
We are seeking a CNC Operator/Machinist for our day and night shifts with the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience setting up and running CNC mills in the aerospace industry.
- 5 axis experience a plus
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to properly utilize hand inspection tools
- Basic math including geometry and trigonometry
Daily job duties but not limited to:
- Setup job on CNC mill utilizing job traveler, setup sheets, and programs.
- Fixture and indicate raw material/fixture using clamps, vises, and indicator.
- Prepare cutting tools from tool list with proper length, and geometry verifying length offset, diameter, and runout.
- Measure and verify key features on first part.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
- Maintain equipment by following daily maintenance checklist.
- Document daily actions by completing production log.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
