Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to deliver exceptional service and maintain the safety and integrity of the property. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact during the overnight shift, providing a welcoming atmosphere while managing critical front desk functions and financial reconciliations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for our guests even after hours.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously during nighttime hours
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction remains a top priority
- Perform nightly financial audits by reconciling daily transactions, billing, and reservations using hotel management software such as OPERA
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and security checks
- Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols of the property to ensure safety and adherence to emergency procedures
- Respond promptly to any hotel emergencies or safety concerns following established protocols
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations, guest inquiries, and internal communications
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, especially in front desk or night audit roles
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Previous resort or hotel experience preferred; experience with hospitality management in diverse settings is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for financial reconciliation and record keeping
