Provides specially designed instruction to students in all areas specified by the IEP related to the provision of Extended School Year services. Develops and implements a plan for managing classroom behaviors in accordance with IEPs using a variety of positive behavioral supports. Utilizes assistive technology and specialized equipment. Maintains a system of record keeping and data collection following required procedures as outlined in the Special Education Manual. Plans and supervises assignments for teacher assistant(s) and/or other volunteer(s). Other Duties as Assigned.
Knowledge of and adhere to federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the education of students with disabilities.
