Position Summary
Together Women Rise is looking for an energetic, organized, and mission-driven Development & Fundraising Coordinator to join our exceptional team and help support our development efforts while the Director of Development is on maternity leave.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves people, cares deeply about service, and enjoys bringing order, heart, and follow-through to important work. In this role, you will help strengthen donor relationships, support fundraising campaigns, coordinate special events, and share the inspiring story of Together Women Rise.
This is a remote part-time position (20–22 hours per week.) Begins August 10-December 4, 2026
Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Development and Fundraising Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing strategic philanthropy. This position supports donor outreach, fundraising campaigns, general inquiries, communications, event planning, reporting.
The Development and Fundraising Coordinator ensures donor communications are thoughtful and timely, records are accurate, events are well supported, and fundraising efforts reflect the spirit of the organization. The right person for this role will be comfortable juggling details while never losing sight of the larger mission: helping donors and members experience excellent customer service.
The Development & Fundraising Coordinator must honor and protect the anonymity and privacy of all donors, members, and stakeholders in every form of communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach
- Maintain donor databases and tracking contributions and communications
- Write thank-you letters, donor acknowledgments, and stewardship communications
- Assist with coordinating with vendors/printers
- Support fundraising events, annual appeal, and other special events (online and in person)
- Prepare development reports for the Resource Development Committee along scheduling, meeting preparation, minutes
- Help to craft language for newsletters, email campaigns, and social media fundraising content
- Collaborate across development, finance, and operations teams to strengthen integrated workflows and support shared accountability for results
- Other duties as assigned.
- Confidentiality: Must adhere to and respect all policies regarding the anonymity and privacy of all donors. This includes written and verbal communication regarding past, present, or future guests’ identity, address, and presenting problems.

Qualifications

- Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct written, oral, or diagram form instructions.
- Ability to be flexible in relation to department needs.
Education, Experience, and Skills
- BA or BS in a human service field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience in fundraising
- Experience working with Salesforce, SharePoint and Zoom required
- Event planning and management
- Experience working as part of a fundraising team in a non-profit preferred

Compensation
This remote part-time position is temporary with an hourly rate of $28.00, commensurate with skills, knowledge, and experience. The work schedule is flexible within regular business hours.
