JOB
Are you ready to lead major construction projects that shape the future of our community? In this role, you’ll plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale construction programs for an assigned County division—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards. From early design and cost estimation through construction and closeout, you’ll play a central role in turning infrastructure plans into reality.
You’ll identify and develop new projects by evaluating needs, guiding design solutions, and preparing accurate cost estimates. Acting as a key liaison between County departments, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and the public, you’ll ensure clear communication and smooth coordination at every stage. Your responsibilities include selecting and managing professional consultants, overseeing construction progress, administering contracts and grants, and preparing permits, reports, and reimbursement requests.
You’ll also contribute to long-range capital improvement planning and annual budgets while providing technical leadership to engineering staff—reviewing plans and specifications, offering guidance, and ensuring quality and performance standards are met. As a licensed professional, you’ll provide engineering services including signing, sealing, and certifying projects, while also leading, developing, and supporting a team of professionals.
If you’re a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to public service, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to deliver impactful infrastructure projects that serve our community for years to come.
