Primary & Urgent Care Clinic in Orlando, FL is seeking a qualified and experienced X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a dual-role position where the candidate will perform both radiologic and medical assistant duties during each shift.
Start Date: Candidates may begin immediately following a successful interview process.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders
- Perform radiographic imaging using X-ray equipment as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
- Educate patients on X-ray procedures and address any questions
- Ensure images are of high quality to minimize repeat exposures
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of X-ray equipment
- Accurately document all completed imaging procedures
- Assist with Medical Assistant duties, including patient intake, vitals, and clinical support as needed
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and clinic staff
- Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (required)
- Medical Assistant certification/licensure (preferred)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of medical experience
- EMR system experience (preferred)
- Must pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment
- Flexible scheduling available
- Pay: $23–$30 per hour , based on experience and qualifications
