Duties
- Supervise children during before and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and educational projects
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Assist with transportation logistics if needed, including supervising children during arrival and departure times
- Collaborate with team members to plan engaging youth programs that promote social skills and personal development
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response plans
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or youth programs is highly preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle outdoor activities safely
- Experience with special education or childhood development is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide young learners
- Passion for youth development, teaching, or childcare is essential

Pay: $17.75 - $18.50 per hour
