Environmental Services Director
SNF located in Staten Island, NY
Salary: $75K to $80K; based on experience
Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. Responsible for the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of maintenance, housekeeping and laundry services within the facility. Hands on maintenance is a must. Assign equipment to staff; monitor daily equipment use, cleaning and maintenance. Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
Qualifications:
Must have prior experience as an Environmental Services Director in a nursing home setting
Must have long term care/skilled nursing experience
Maintenance and Housekeeping background required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
