What You'll Do:
- Primarily involved with assisting staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects

Responsibilities include clearly documenting site observations for both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work performed

Other duties may include assisting with or performing the following with limited supervision:

Perform boring and test pit layouts
-
Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances
-
Perform research on local geologic history
-
Assist with supervision of field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assist with rig access issues.

Perform in-situ testing
-
Classify soils
-
Keep project staff informed of changing site conditions and/or additional testing requested on project sites
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required

No experience required

Professional license is not required in this position but is necessary to progress in career

If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.
