Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fiberglass Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing fiberglass components used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality production standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble fiberglass parts with precision.
- Fabricate components by applying mechanical knowledge to mold, laminate, and reinforce fiberglass structures.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Support materials handling activities including loading, unloading, and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environments is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality control.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- fiberglass tech: 1 year (Preferred)
- paint or gel coat: 1 year (Required)
Language:
- english or spanish (Required)
