Colorado Springs Based, Weekday Routes Throughout the Front Range
Windows Well Covered is hiring a reliable, detail oriented field technician to measure, quote, and install custom window well covers for homeowners throughout Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, South Denver, and surrounding communities.
This is a hands on, customer facing role for someone who takes pride in doing excellent work without needing constant supervision. You will drive daily routes, meet homeowners, take accurate measurements and photos, explain our products clearly, install custom covers and locking systems, complete occasional window well clean outs, and help in the shop when field work is lighter.
We are a growing Colorado family business with hundreds of 5 star customer reviews. Our reputation depends on doing the small things right: showing up on time, communicating clearly, treating customers with respect, measuring carefully, and leaving every job clean and professionally finished.
Compensation
Paid Training
Training pay is $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
The initial training period typically lasts 3 to 6 weeks. During training, you will learn our measuring process, quoting system, product options, installation standards, customer communication expectations, and digital workflow.
Performance Based Compensation After Training
After successfully completing training, compensation includes:
- An hourly pay component based on experience and demonstrated performance
- 2.15% commission on quotes completed
- 2.15% commission on installs completed
- 25% revenue share on window well clean outs you complete
- Quarterly accuracy bonus opportunities
- Customer review bonus opportunities
- Overtime opportunities during the busy season
Employees will easily exceed the applicable Colorado minimum wage for all hours worked.
The hourly component can increase as you demonstrate reliability, accuracy, customer service excellence, and the ability to run routes independently. Strong technicians can grow quickly during their first 6 months.
Real Earnings Example
One of our technicians averaged $32.20 per hour in May through regular hourly pay, quote commissions, install commissions, and clean out revenue share. That technician worked no overtime during the month, and the calculation did not include review bonuses or accuracy bonuses. The technician is not at the highest end of our hourly base pay rate.
Actual earnings vary based on training progress, seasonality, route volume, clean out volume, accuracy, customer service, and overall performance. This is a real example, not a guaranteed wage. Post training pay range $26-$36.
