Restaurant Shift Supervisor
La Strega is seeking a full-time Dining Room Manager to join our leadership team.
Located in the heart of Summerlin, La Strega is Chef Gina Marinelli's modern Italian restaurant in partnership with Lev Food Group. Known for exceptional hospitality, handmade pastas, an award-winning wine program, and a loyal neighborhood following, we are looking for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience, service excellence, team development, and leading from the floor.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on the dining room and guest experience. The Dining Room Manager will work alongside the management team to oversee service, support staff development, maintain operational standards, and ensure every guest receives the level of hospitality that has made La Strega one of Las Vegas' most respected neighborhood restaurants.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being on the floor, building relationships with guests, coaching team members, and creating memorable dining experiences. This role is less about managing from an office and more about being present where it matters most: in the dining room.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily dining room operations during service
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and hospitality standards
- Build meaningful relationships with guests and help cultivate a strong base of regular clientele
- Support, coach, train, and develop front-of-house team members
- Uphold and reinforce service, cleanliness, and operational standards
- Lead by example and create a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for front-of-house staff
- Assist with guest relations and service recovery when needed
- Partner with restaurant leadership to execute successful shifts and services
- Help maintain a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment
Who This Role Is For:
We believe some of the best dining room managers come from the floor. This position may be a great fit for an experienced server, sommelier, captain, hospitality supervisor, or restaurant professional who is ready to take the next step in their career while remaining connected to guests and service.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in details, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and understands that great hospitality comes from consistency, execution, and genuine care for people.
We are looking for someone who believes that great restaurants are built through strong relationships, consistent standards, and continuous training and development of the team.
Because of the entrepreneurial nature of our company, this role also provides exposure to the broader restaurant business and opportunities for professional growth. Team members who demonstrate leadership, accountability, and strong performance often find opportunities to expand their responsibilities as our company continues to grow.
That said, the primary responsibility of this role is simple: lead great shifts, support the team, and ensure our guests have an exceptional experience every time they visit La Strega.
