Industrial Electrical Engineer / Contractor Needed – European Manufacturing Equipment Installation
We are seeking an experienced industrial electrical engineer or licensed industrial electrical contractor to evaluate and design the electrical infrastructure for a European concrete block/paver manufacturing machine to be installed in a warehouse in South Florida.
Machine Requirements:
- European industrial equipment
- 3-phase 400V
- 50Hz
- Approx. 28–33 kW load
- Hydraulic and vibration-based concrete block production system
Existing Building Service:
- 480Y/277V, 3-phase Wye service
Scope of Work:
- Review machine electrical specifications and drawings
- Determine whether the equipment can operate on 400V/60Hz or requires 400V/50Hz
- Design required power conversion solution
- Specify transformer and/or frequency converter requirements
- Design feeder, disconnects, protection, grounding, and final machine connection
- Verify code compliance and permitting requirements
- Provide installation budget and implementation plan
Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment
- Experience with European machinery installations in the United States
- Knowledge of 3-phase power systems, transformers, VFDs, and frequency conversion
- Florida licensed electrical contractor or industrial electrical engineer preferred
Please include relevant project experience involving imported European industrial equipment, manufacturing facilities, or power conversion systems.
Pay: $25.96 - $31.27 per hour
