We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Utility Worker to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including cutting fries and cabbage
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning the kitchen and prep area daily
- Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the parking lot and grounds
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and waste disposal safely and correctly
- Operate kitchen equipment like dishwashers, mixers, or ovens with proper training to support food production processes
- Check-in and put orders away and maintaining clean storage areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy objects safely
- Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment and dishwashing machinery is a plus
- Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Shift: Tuesdays 8-1, Wednesdays 8-4, Fridays 8-4, Saturdays 8-1 and Sundays 8-1. Off on Mondays and Thursdays.
