Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Incoming Inspection Technician to join our manufacturing quality assurance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and regulatory compliance. Provide continuous reduction of supplier complaints, prevention of recurrence, tracking and; maintenance of incoming goods inspection and execution of incoming goods inspection. Ensuring the product quality expected by the customer based on inspection instructions applicable to the received raw materials and incorporated products. Segregation of defective raw/components and incorporated products. Performing in-process inspection tasks.
Duties
- Perform thorough incoming inspections of raw materials, components, and finished goods using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems.
- Sampling inspection of incoming materials and components based on applicable instructions
- Read and follow work instructions and general processes
- Proper use and preservation of measuring instruments, master samples, color samples, and Boundarie / limit samples
- Segregate, Identify and quarantine nonconforming goods, completing required documentation, reporting to the SQE engineer
- Active participation in the operation of the quality management system according to the IATF 16949 standard.
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Display excellent customer service
- Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
- Collect and record data
- Work to resolve noncompliance issues with materials or final products.
- Document quality assurance practices by entering data into logbooks, noting information in computer databases and recording all inventory and actions
- Ensure that during all parts of the production schedule that the product meets all guidelines related to manufacturing.
- Communicate with management, logistics, production, engineering and other team members when problems arise and offer possible solutions to help correct any mistakes
- Assess quality assurance strategies periodically to determine best practices and improvements that could lead to fewer problems and interruptions in the production schedule.
- Execute quality audits and participate in internal audits to verify adherence to HACCP, CGMP, and other manufacturing protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC processes.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Familiarity with industry standards, CGMP (current good manufacturing practices), and FDA regulations.
- Strong analysis skills for data collection, trend analysis, and problem-solving related to product quality.
- Experience conducting quality audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting inspection results accurately.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing setting while maintaining high standards of precision measurement in machining processes.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
