Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities by visiting prospective clients door-to-door and at various community locations to introduce our energy products and services
- Develop and execute personalized sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, utilizing CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, follow-ups, and conversions
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations, clearly explaining features, benefits, and energy savings opportunities to diverse audiences
- Negotiate terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining professionalism and integrity
- Utilize marketing techniques to generate leads, including community outreach, networking events, and digital campaigns in multiple languages as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and guiding clients through the purchasing process
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales progress, and follow-up actions within CRM systems for accurate reporting and future engagement
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, especially door-to-door or direct customer engagement in energy or solar sales is highly desirable
- Strong marketing skills with the ability to identify opportunities and develop outreach strategies
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases across different regions
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing leads and customer data
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of energy sales products, technical sales processes, and customer service best practices
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently, self-motivate, and manage time efficiently
