Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing daily operations across various food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and safety are maintained. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, including restaurants, bars, and catering services.
- Lead staff training initiatives to uphold service standards, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste management to optimize costs.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system operations using platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and food safety standards through regular inspections.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure quality food preparation and timely service.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff members to build a competent team.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the food service industry, particularly in fast food, casual dining, or fine dining establishments.
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant management systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, team management, and leadership roles.
- Experience with food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary operations.
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations.
- Previous roles involving shift management in hospitality environments such as hotels or catering services.
- Strong background in customer service excellence within diverse restaurant settings.
- Experience with bar operations or coffee/tea service is advantageous.
