Seeking 1-2 people for part time assistant at Veterinary office. No weekends or holidays 8- 15 hours maximum. Animal Handling skills a must. Job requirements include ability to show up on time and on the days scheduled. The schedule will not be adjusted around child care needs. Responsibilities include helping with set up, restraining dogs and some cats for examinations and treatments including chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, injections, blood draws, cleaning between patients, filling medications, helping to schedule appointments, occasionally speaking to clients on the phone if they have questions and closing procedures. Currently looking for two people to work 2 1/2 days per week each, roughly 12-15 hours weekly. PAY LEVEL OFFERED WILL BE IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE. I am not seeking dog walkers or pet sitters, restraining animals for blood draws and treatments is a different skill set.
