Amoroso Woodridge is looking for a Registered Nurse to fulfill the position of Nurse Manager/Wound Nurse. The Registered Nurse chosen for this position will work closely with, and report directly to the Director of Nursing.

What We Need:
Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting (preferred)
Experience managing a facility-based wound care program
Wound Care Certification is preferred
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
What You Will Do:
Assist the Nurse Practitioner with weekly wound rounds, including documentation, care planning, notification, etc.
Work closely with nursing staff and medical providers
Ensure the nursing department runs smoothly and make rounds to ensure resident care is provided to meet the facility standards
Monitor documentation
Assess residents
Complete performance evaluations as assigned
Carry out orders specifically for Registered Nurses
Communicate with other departments
Conduct routine communication meetings with your staff
Other duties as described in the job description/assigned by the DON
When You Will Work:
Typically Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Off hours (evening, night shift, weekends) to provide support to staff working on those shifts
Alternate hours will be required based on the needs of the facility
Participate in an on-call rotation with other Nursing Administration Team members
