What You'll Do
Independently manage complex journal entries, detailed account reconciliations, and variance analysis across multiple areas
Lead accounting for M&A transactions, divestitures, and joint venture formations - including coordinating with fixed asset groups and reviewing legal agreements
Calculate and refresh asset retirement obligation (ARO) models and assess for potential impairments
Assist in completing regulatory filings in accordance with established standards
Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors - gathering documentation and responding to inquiries independently
Conduct technical accounting research and draft policies and procedures
Manage overlapping special projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency
Prepare for and lead cross-functional meetings with directors and VPs - including operations, legal, and planning teams
Mentor junior accounting staff on accuracy, reporting, and best practices
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3–6 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting background required
CPA Required
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communicator comfortable presenting to senior leadership
Self-directed, analytically strong, and highly organized
