Oversee safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of plant equipment
Operate control room, combustion turbines, and auxiliary equipment during normal and emergency conditions
Monitor and record operational data using computer systems, meters, gauges, and other monitoring devices
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or operational issues to maintain reliability
Implement plant emergency procedures and respond appropriately to abnormal conditions
Communicate plant and system conditions effectively with team members and management
Train and guide operators to ensure qualification and compliance with standards
Ensure preventive maintenance and shift operations tasks are performed as scheduled
Interpret readings and adjust equipment operation to optimize performance
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining operational excellence
Meet physical requirements including standing, walking, climbing, and squatting
Perform rotating shift work with availability for 24/7 response as needed
Carry out additional duties as assigned
