JOB
This position will serve as the lead developer and manager of visual, digital, and multimedia communications that support the State Treasurer’s Office and its consumer programs, advancing the agency’s comprehensive communications strategy and public engagement efforts.
As a Senior Communications Manager your responsibilities will include:

Executes the visual and digital components of the agency's comprehensive communications strategy to facilitate effective, timely and impactful informational, communications and marketing.

Develops digital media content, agency branding, videography, photography print collateral materials and social media for the State Treasurer’s Office and its Consumer Programs.

Assists with writing and editing press releases, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, reports and other communications for release to the media or general public.

Develops and maintains reporting and analytics measures to validate the effectiveness and impact of visual and digital communications efforts as they relate to the execution of the agency's communications strategy.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Previous communications experience preferred.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
May require occasional in-state travel and very limited overnight travel. Must be able to safely lift and carry files, supplies, boxes, etc. weighing up to 20 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand and walk for intermittent periods of time. Must be able to reach, bend and twist at the waist to perform filing, desk work and operate general office equipment.
