**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting in dental procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding dental practice environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
-Experience preferred but not required
- Skill in patient assessment and interaction
- Familiarity with managing medical records and Open Dental Software
