American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist (ARRT) with hands-on cath lab experience, including PCI procedures and fluoroscopy certification, for a 13-week travel assignment in a cardiac catheterization unit.

Cardiac Catheterization unit in an acute care hospital setting
-
Procedures include cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, Impella and balloon pump device insertion, IR procedures (Nephrostomy Tube Insertion, PICC Insertion, Permacath Insertion, Pacemaker Insertion, Cerebral Thrombectomy)

C-Arm operation and routine LEAD maintenance required
-
4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with approximately 9 shifts per month
-
24-hour call coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays; must be available within 30 minutes of a page
-
Cath Lab experience required; minimum 1 year of specialty experience

ARRT certification required; NJ ARRT license required if applicable

Fluoroscopy certification required

BLS and ACLS required

Proficiency with C-Arm operation, routine LEAD maintenance, and fluoroscopy

Skills encompassing RCIS scope of practice expected

DOB and SSN required for consideration

DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification is not required but may be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource at cdc.gov/niosh/docs/2013-155
