Now Hiring: Waterproofing General Laborer (Full-Time)
Our company is growing, and we are seeking experienced Waterproofing Technicians to join our team and hit the ground running. We are hiring full-time skilled laborers for Monday–Friday schedules, with occasional weekend work required.
Position Overview
Skilled Laborers will work under the direction of the Foreman to support a variety of commercial waterproofing projects. Work includes the installation of sheet membranes, spray-applied waterproofing systems, and vapor mitigation products on commercial job sites.
This role requires reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards at all times. You will also interact with building owners, contractors, and other site personnel, so strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Foreman with daily construction and waterproofing tasks
- Perform concrete forming and finishing work to ensure quality results
- Install rebar, waterproofing systems, and related materials
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Operate equipment such as lifts, ladders, and paint sprayers
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service on-site
- Transport materials and tools as needed (valid driver’s license required)
Position Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with physical labor (bending, kneeling, climbing, standing, walking)
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Roofing
- Painting
- Construction / General Labor
- Commercial Waterproofing
- Carpentry
- Operating lifts and ladders
- Spray equipment usage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-service oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel overnight and work varied shifts
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass:
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Criminal background check (as permitted by law)
Training & Compliance
All new hires are required to complete:
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Respirator Fit Testing
(All training will be completed during the first week of employment.)
