Overview
Join our dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where you will play a roll in chairside dental assisting with pediatric patients. We are looking for experienced assistants but we are willing to train the right person who understands clinical flow and is great with children.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following strict aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, extractions and General anesthesia full mouth dentistry
- Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Take x-rays using digital sensors and phosphor storage plates
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions using clear dental terminology.
- Maintain infection control standards by adhering to CDC guidelines and infection prevention protocols within the dental clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure in accordance with state regulations.
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or the ability to learn new software easily.
- Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly about procedures and post-care instructions while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security is essential.
- Experience supporting pediatric patients is preferred; familiarity with pediatrics-specific procedures is a plus. Join us in delivering compassionate care with precision! Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
