Aramco Imports Inc. designs, manufactures, imports, exports, and distributes cookware, kitchen gadgets, and small appliances under our own and licensed brands, sold nationally and internationally. We also distribute non-perishable food products under three in-house brands, along with imported specialty goods from Europe and the Middle East, across a retail footprint that spans Hispanic grocery, Middle Eastern grocery, independent mom-and-pop stores, and national and international discount and big-box retailers.
Overview
Aramco Imports is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop our team of 12 Account Managers, who sell across a uniquely diverse mix of product categories and retail channels, with some overlap between them. This is a leadership-first role: you will not be expected to carry your own sales quota, but to build the structure, training, and motivation that turn an experienced but largely order-taking team into a proactive, growth-driven sales force. The right person brings the vision to identify missed opportunities across existing and untapped accounts, both domestically and internationally, and the presence to earn the team’s respect and lead them to success.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
● Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of approximately 12 Account Managers across multiple retail channels and account types.
● Shift the team’s approach from reactive to proactive, consultative selling, through hands-on coaching and structured training.
● Design and deliver ongoing sales training covering prospecting, negotiation, account growth, and category-specific selling techniques.
● Set clear individual and team goals, quotas, and KPIs; hold regular one-on-ones and performance reviews.
● Recruit, onboard, and develop new Account Managers as the team grows.
● Build a positive, motivated, high-performance team culture through strong, hands-on leadership.
Strategy and Growth
● Develop and execute an overall sales strategy and account-growth plan spanning grocery, independent stores, and discount/big-box retail, domestically and internationally.
● Identify and pursue missed opportunities, including untapped stores, chains, and regions, to expand the company’s customer base.
● Set specific store and revenue targets by account segment and build the process and playbook the team needs to hit them.
● Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and account performance to continually refine strategy.
Sales Operations and Reporting
●Oversee the sales pipeline across the team’s assigned accounts and product categories, including cookware, gadgets, small appliances, and food brands.
●Manage forecasting, sales budgets, and performance tracking, and report results to ownership and executive leadership.
●Partner with purchasing, product development, warehouse, and import/export teams to ensure smooth execution from order to delivery.
Client Relations
●Step in on key account negotiations and escalations, particularly for larger discount/big-box or international accounts.
●Build direct relationships with key retail buyers as needed to support and unblock the team.
Qualifications
● 7+ years of sales experience, including at least 3+ years in a sales management or leadership role, ideally in cookware, housewares, consumer goods, or CPG.
● Proven track record building and leading a sales team, ideally one managing multiple account types or channels at once.
● Strong, natural leadership presence: someone who commands respect through experience and results, not just title.
● Positive, motivational management style, with the ability to coach underperforming reps and raise a team’s overall skill level.
● Experience building sales training programs, playbooks, or structured coaching processes.
● Strategic thinker, able to build and execute account-growth plans and identify new markets or channels.
● Comfortable overseeing both domestic and international accounts and distributor relationships.
● Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
