Key Responsibilities
· Invoice Processing: Match, batch, and code high-volume vendor invoices daily.
· Three-Way Matching: Verify invoices against purchase orders (POs) and field delivery tickets.
· Project Costing: Allocate material, fuel, and subcontractor expenses to correct job codes.
· Vendor Management: Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile monthly statements promptly.
· Payment Processing: Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations.
· Compliance Tracking: Collect and verify subcontractor lien waivers, COIs, and W-9 forms.
· Payroll: Complete automated weekly company payroll and track inconsistencies and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of heavy accounts payable/payroll experience preferred.
· Industry Knowledge: Experience in construction, underground utilities, or heavy civil industries is highly preferred.
· Software Proficiency: Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 100/300, Viewpoint, Foundation, or QuickBooks Enterprise).
· Skills: Strong understanding of job costing, progress billings, and lien waiver processes.
· Attributes: High attention to detail, strong data-entry speed, and excellent communication skills.
