Position: Welder / Fitter – Structural Steel Fabrication
Location: Livonia, MI (On-Site)
Shift: Second Shift (Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM)
We are seeking experienced Welders and Fitters to join our Structural Steel Fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating, fitting, and welding structural and miscellaneous steel while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
- Fit, assemble, and weld structural and miscellaneous steel components.
- Operate shop equipment, welding, and burning equipment.
- Inspect materials and finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with fabrication team members to meet production schedules.
Requirements:
- Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with welding, fitting, and operating shop equipment.
- AWS D1.1 Certification is preferred (required for Fitter candidates).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Willingness to join Local Union 851 if hired.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Pay: $25.90 - $27.00 per hour
