IT Support Technician II
Location: Englewood, CO (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $29.66
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: Contract (12 months+)

Our aerospace and defense client is seeking an experienced
IT Support Technician II to provide hands-on technical support for end users in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. This position is ideal for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and end-user technology while delivering exceptional customer service.
Description:
- Provide Tier II technical support for desktop and laptop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based computer systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Support printers, video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, RSA authentication, and other end-user technologies.
- Assist with network equipment troubleshooting and basic infrastructure support.
- Respond to technical support requests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate user technology needs and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes.
- Collaborate with IT team members to share knowledge and improve support processes.
- Maintain compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant IT support experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering quality technical support
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware and software environments
- Working knowledge of:
- Windows operating systems
- Computer hardware and peripherals
- Printers and print services
- Network connectivity
- VPN technologies
- RSA authentication
- Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand user needs and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems
- Experience supporting users in highly regulated or technical industries
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
