MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN — EARN $50,000–$100,000+ AT VETERANS AC & HEAT $20–$25/hr base + uncapped commission

THE OPPORTUNITY This isn't a "filter swap and leave" job. Our Maintenance Technicians are the front line of the customer relationship — the techs who build trust, protect equipment, and uncover the opportunities that keep our service and install departments running strong. You'll be paid hourly with real commission on top.
- Hourly base: $20–$25/hr depending on experience
- Maintenance agreement commissions: Earn on every new agreement you write
- Lead generation commissions: Paid spiffs on repairs and replacements you turn over
- Performance bonuses: Monthly and quarterly incentives for hitting KPIs
- Realistic annual range: $50,000–$100,000+ based on production
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run scheduled maintenance visits on residential HVAC systems with precision and care
- Perform thorough tune-ups, system inspections, and component testing
- Identify legitimate repair and replacement opportunities and hand off to service/install
- Sell and renew preventive maintenance agreements
- Educate homeowners in plain English — no pressure, no scare tactics
- Document every visit accurately.
- Keep your truck stocked, clean, and inventory-accurate
- Represent the Veterans AC & Heat brand professionally on every call
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1+ year of HVAC field experience (residential preferred)
- Strong diagnostic fundamentals and willingness to keep learning
- Customer-first mindset — you can hold a conversation and earn trust quickly
- Clean driving record and valid Florida driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
