Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, every 4th Saturday rotation
The Lube Technician is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicle safety and reliability while delivering efficient, high-quality service to customers. Lube Technicians also assist with new vehicle inventory preparation and general shop support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings accurately
- Assist with new vehicle inventory preparation, including inspections and basic setup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer service procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors regarding vehicle status
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep up with required online training and development
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to use computers, tablets, and mobile devices for work-related tasks
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop automotive skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
- Capability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
