Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Heavy Civil Foreman to lead and supervise construction crews on large-scale civil projects. In this role, you will oversee daily operations on the job site, ensure safety compliance, manage project schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on heavy civil projects including grading, excavation, utilities, and road building.
- Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Primavera.
- Ensure all work complies with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications; interpret plans accurately for the team.
- Manage safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Oversee quality control measures to meet project specifications; perform inspections using tools like ohmmeters and other testing equipment.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation; assist in construction estimating and cost tracking using HeavyBid or similar software.
- Lead, train, and supervise construction crews; foster a positive team environment focused on productivity and safety.
Requirements
- Proven management and supervising experience in heavy civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Primavera.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with contracts, quality control procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with knowledge of utilities installation, pipeline work, grading, excavation, and site development.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately; operate testing tools like ohmmeters effectively.

Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
