Audubon is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in our Off-Site Office for a short-term field assignment supporting the construction of a large above-ground water storage facility in Converse County, Wyoming. This role is ideal for a seasoned field professional who can step in quickly and effectively manage on-site construction activities in a fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and field teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Monitor project progress and maintain schedule adherence
- Perform quality control oversight and inspections
- Provide regular updates to project leadership
- Identify and resolve field issues to maintain efficiency
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:
- All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
- Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
- Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
- Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Strong experience managing industrial or infrastructure construction projects
- Experience with large tanks, water storage, or similar facilities preferred
- Proven leadership and field coordination skills
- Ability to work extended schedules (6 days/week, 10-hour days)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
