We are hiring Fitter/Welders who can both fit and weld Plate Steel, including round and square duct work, and flat plate panels.
Overview
We are hiring experienced Fitters and Fitter/Welders to join our fabrication team. This role is hands-on and production-focused, fitting and fabricating steel plate in a shop environment. Pay is based on skill level, experience, and ability to work independently. This position is available at our plate fabrication location in Vincent, AL. No travel required.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings
- Fit, tack, and/or weld steel components according to specifications
- Use hand tools, grinders, measuring tools, and shop equipment
- Produce quality work while meeting production schedules
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Work independently or as part of a small team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience fitting plate, including round and square duct work, and flat plate panels
- Ability to measure accurately and read a tape
- Welding experience (MIG preferred; other experience a plus)
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and improve skill level
Schedule & Locations
- Full-time, steady work. Typical Work Week 48 hours:
- Mon – Thur: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Fridays: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Positions available in our Vincent, AL location
Pay & Growth
- Hourly base pay based on skill and experience. Incentive pay based on superior performance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
