Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, On-Call for Afterhours/Weekend Emergencies (two weeks on/two weeks off)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 130-unit apartment community in Taylor Michigan. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in apartment or property maintenance, take pride in their work, and be committed to providing quality service to residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair
- Complete work orders and respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant units for new residents (turns/make-readies)
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
- Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance tasks
- Be available for on-call rotation for emergency repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good working order
- Related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in apartment or residential maintenance
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
