Calimingo Pools is a luxury design-build firm specializing in custom pools, spas, and outdoor living environments across Southern California. We're growing fast and we need a Construction Superintendent who can own the field from groundbreak to final inspection across multiple active builds.
What You'll Be Running
- Day-to-day field operations across custom pool, spa, and outdoor living projects
- Multiple concurrent builds across Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego
- Crew chiefs and subcontractors across trades — ironwork, masonry, concrete, woodworking, irrigation, and pool/spa systems
- Daily site visits: troubleshoot, direct, and drive progress
- Subcontractor scheduling, accountability, and performance
- Materials and equipment coordination to keep builds on track
- Safety, compliance, and quality standards on every site
What You'll Also Own
- Construction document review and blueprint interpretation
- Change order management — identify scope shifts, get estimates, get approvals
- Client-facing job meetings — scheduled, documented, and professional
- Project tracking across software platforms so status is always visible
- Direct line to engineers, designers, and inspectors to keep information flowing
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of pool construction experience
- 3+ years of general construction experience (required)
- Comfortable functioning as the subject matter expert in the field — you know what good looks like across trades
- A natural leader who can manage subs, crew chiefs, and partners without micromanaging
- Detail-oriented enough to catch blueprint discrepancies, organized enough to keep multiple active jobs trackable at a glance
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but field experience and results speak louder

Pay: $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
