Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients following established recipes and quality standard
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients for daily specials and regular menu items
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to uphold safety standards in production
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
- Follow recipe adherence meticulously to deliver consistent taste and presentation for all menu items
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or culinary environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, slicers, mixers, and food processors
- Understanding of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, or food industry roles is advantageous
