Assisting physician with procedures, rooming patients, cleaning and packaging instruments for sterilization, data entry, dressing surgical sites, calling patients with biopsy results, and other duties as needed. Must be a team player.
Summary
As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will support both clinical and administrative workflows in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will report to a healthcare provider or practice manager, delivering patient-facing care and medical documentation. You will assist with patient rooming, data entry, sterile processing, and medication preparation.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical administrative tasks, including data entry, medical scheduling, and EHR documentation to support patient flow and accuracy.
- Assist clinicians with patient rooming, basic procedures, wound care, and preparation of clinical spaces and supplies.
- Provide patient care support, ensure sterile technique, and manage simple pharmacology tasks as directed.
- Maintain medical records and monitor patient safety and comfort.
- Uphold compliance with infection control, privacy, and workflow procedures; communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Medical assistant and administrative support experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems, patient scheduling, and medical records
- Strong patient care and service skills
- Ability to assist with diagnostic tests, patient rooming, and preparing treatment areas; excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $22.00 per hour
