Senior Helpers, a leader in in-home senior care, is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Caregiver in Wheat Ridge & surrounding areas.
Role includes personal care and companionship to support quality of life. This is a part-time position and the individual in this role will work directly with clients in their homes.

AREAS WE SERVE: Broomfield, Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, Wheat Ridge, Lafayette, Aurora, Commerce City, Denver, & Brighton
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a PART-TIME, hourly position with a competitive pay rate of $19.29 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience. Pay will be distributed biweekly. In addition, employees will have access to benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Help remind clients to take prescribed medication according to the physician’s instructions.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks (taking out the trash, dishes, laundry, sweeping/vacuuming)
- Assisting the client with transfers, ambulation, and mobility around the house or outside (doctor appointments, walks, etc.)
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the caregiver supervisor
- Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Attend ongoing training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills
Requirements:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic knowledge of personal care and homemaking tasks
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
