In this role, you’ll draw on your expertise to assess, diagnose, and provide direct intervention for children with a variety of speech and language needs, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other specialized staff to maximize student progress.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Experience with pediatric populations—early childhood or elementary preferred, but all K–12 experience welcome
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapeutic interventions, and IEP development
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience supporting students with a range of communication challenges, from moderate to profound
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to meet diverse communication needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate regularly with families and staff
- Adapt intervention strategies to support varying levels of need and student backgrounds
